Elaine Mendoza Gay is the founder and President/CEO of Conceptual MindWorks Inc., which develops software for military, industrial and medical clients. The company was named the 13th fastest growing Hispanic-owned business in the nation by Hispanic Magazine in 1999. She is past President of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.

Eduardo Castro-Wright

Eduardo Castro-Wright is President and CEO of Wal-Mart Stores, USA. He was promoted to this position in September 2005, following his role of executive vice president and chief operating officer for Wal-Mart Stores, USA. He joined Wal-Mart in 2001 as President and COO for Wal-Mart México. In January 2003, he was promoted to President and CEO for Wal-Mart México. Prior to his employment at Wal-Mart, he worked for Honeywell International Inc. At Honeywell, he served as President and CEO of Honeywell Transportation and Power Systems from 2000 to 2001 and was the President and CEO of Honeywell Asia/Pacific from 1998 to 2000. Previous to that, he was the President of Nabisco Asia Pacific from 1995 to 1998. He also worked as President and CEO of Nabisco México from 1994 to 1995 and of Nabisco Venezuela from 1991 to 1994. He was born in Ecuador and has a degree in mechanical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Pedro Aguirre

Class of 1955

Pedro Aguirre is a noted architect and founder/chairman of Aguirre Corporation, a full service architecture, engineering, construction and facilities management firm located in Dallas. In 1976, he was appointed to the U.S. Delegation in the 4th Inter-American Congress on Housing in Lima, Perú. He served as an American Specialist to Latin America under the Fulbright Program, and in 1989 was elected a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects.
