Presidents Council

Hispanic Presidents Council (HPC) seeks to provide a mechanism through which all Hispanics can become full and contributing students to Texas A&M University. Promoting the awareness of the existing Hispanic organizations available to the student body, HPC serves as an umbrella support group for these organizations.


Hispanic Business Student Association

The mission of the Hispanic Business Student Association is to increase the number of culturally responsible Hispanic business students, and help them to excel academically, succeed professionally, positively impact the community and become the liaison between the Mays Business School and its students.

Asado Colombiano

Members of the Texas A&M Colombian Student Association get together for a cookout. The Colombian Student Association seeks to promote unity and culture among Colombians at Texas A&M through three methods: by promoting Colombia at Texas A&M, promoting Texas A&M in Colombia and by improving relationships between Colombian universities and Texas A&M. Officers for the 2006 – 07 year include: Luis Sanabria, Co-President; Marcela Herrera, Co-President; Alejandro Calixto, Secretary, Cesar Corredor, Treasurer; Camilo Tobacia, Public Relations; and Linet Mera, Senior Advisor. Marisa Suhm is the organization’s academic advisor.
